How this site handles your information

AustinApartmentReviews.com publishes Austin Apartment Reviews Guide, an independent directory of apartment complex businesses in Greater Austin. Most visits leave nothing personal with us at all. This page covers the cases that do: enquiry forms, attribution data, and the third-party services the site loads.

Information this site collects

When you send an enquiry or quote request through a form on this site, we collect what you enter: your name, email address, phone number, your message, and any answers you give about the service you need or your timing. Alongside that, the form records the page you submitted from and basic traffic-source attribution, meaning the referring site and any UTM tags on the link that brought you here.

Where form submissions go

Your submission goes through our lead-capture processor, which delivers it to the apartment complex business you enquired about and to the site operator. Those are the only recipients of a form submission.

Cookies and local storage

We do not set tracking cookies of our own. The one thing the site stores client-side is session-scoped attribution data (referrer, landing page, UTM parameters) in sessionStorage, so that a form sent later in your visit records where you came from. It is first-party only and clears when the session ends.

Analytics

This site may run Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. Where analytics is enabled, those services may set cookies to measure visits and page use, under Google’s own privacy terms.

Other services involved

Loading a page here can involve requests to a small set of third parties, each of which sees standard request data such as your IP address: Google Fonts (typefaces), OpenStreetMap (map tiles), and, when enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile (form spam protection). Their own privacy policies apply to those requests.

Where listing data comes from

The business listings on this site are compiled from publicly available sources, including Google Business Profile reviews. We store derived analysis (scores, summaries, sentiment), not raw review text. If your business is listed and you want a correction or removal, the listing policy explains how.
